Granola

Do you really need to buy your granola in the supermarket? Why not do it yourself? It’s probably healthier since you know what you are eating and cheaper! Here’s how you can do it easily and quickly:

Ingredients:

  • Oat flakes
  • Seeds, red berries, and/or nuts of your choice
  • Honey substitute (like agave nectar, molasses, maple syrup, etc.)
  • Cinnamon
  • Peanut Butter

Recipe:

Mix everything up in a bowl, spread it on a tray and put it in the oven. Yes…simple as that! You should move it around sometimes with a wooden spoon so it doesn’t burn. When it looks crispy it is done! It should probably take you around 20 minutes or so. Don’t take it out of the oven. Let it cool down inside it but with the door slightly opened. Keep it in an airtight glass jar. It should last you a week or so. Enjoy!
